What are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 Radiographer to join our large departmental team. All applicants must be registered with the HCPC and hold a DCR or BSc in Radiography. The successful candidate will have appropriate post-graduate experience to enable them to fulfil the job description and an extensive portfolio as evidence of CPD.
The successful candidate will work with an award-winning team (Society of Radiographers South East Region Team of the Year 2016) to participate in the departmental shift patterns which cover 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
We are a friendly and modern imaging department with state-of-the-art DR equipment throughout linked to our Sectra PACS system. We offer a wide range of experience in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging for qualified Radiographers, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Paediatrics, Trauma, limited CT, Cardiology and Interventional Radiology.
CPD is supported and encouraged by the department.
Portsmouth is a vibrant and exciting city on the South Coast of England, with a strong Naval Heritage and excellent transport links to London, the West Country and Europe.
