We are currently seeking to recruit a diagnostic Radiographer to join the team in our busy Imaging Department on a full or part-time time permanent basis.
As a qualified Radiographer with either a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent qualification to meet HCPC registration, you'll be performing general and fluoroscopy radiological procedures in both Imaging and in the operating theatre in accordance with departmental protocols and Ionising Radiation (Medical exposure) Regulations.
Post graduate experience and or qualification in the following areas of specialism would be an advantage - Mammography, and CT Scanning - but isn't essential as CPD training can be offered.
You'll be working alongside and assisting Consultant Radiologists for a range of radiological and ultrasound procedures.
The ability to deal professionally and sensitively with patients and staff at all levels is essential.
Ideally, we're looking for someone with a flexible approach, as we have a number of different shift patterns including some 8am starts and some evenings. As part of the role, we'll ask you to participate on a weekday and weekend on-call rota to ensure cover for Saturday theatre cases and the occasional Bank holiday.
We'll be requiring you to proactively identify the need and expectations of our customers, ensuring your own work meets the required standards, encourage the same in others and identify improvement opportunities.
