Department of Clinical Radiology Nevill Hall Hospital
Position: Band 3 Radiography Health Care Support Worker
Hours: 1 x 375 hours per week
Hours: 1 x 285 hours per week
Applications are sought from highly motivated enthusiastic individuals to join the Radiology departments at Nevill Hall and Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan Hospitals. The role entails offering assistance to Radiographers undertaking a wide range of clinical examinations including CT/MR, Ultrasound and Screening. The Health Care Support Worker is also involved in some of the clerical/administrative and operational tasks within the department. The successful candidates will receive training in working in all areas of Radiology and will aid the Radiographers in the day to day functioning of rooms. There will be a requirement for the successful candidate to work in other Radiology departments throughout ABUHB.
The department of Radiology has recently benefited from a large investment in equipment; we are fully committed to staff development and operate a robust CPD programme. These opportunities would suit self motivating, enthusiastic individuals who wish to progress their careers in this forward looking dynamic department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.

With effect from 1st January 2016 points 1,2,3 and 4 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,132 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage
