If yes, then we are delighted to advise you of a Nurse Recruitment Event on Saturday 5th November 2016.

We are looking for caring, compassionate and motivated nurses who want to make a difference for their patients. In return we deliver an excellent
supernumerary orientation and induction programme for all our new starters, individually tailored to your current level of knowledge and experience.

Nursing roles at The University Hospital of South Manchester NHS

facilities and developmental opportunities.

On this day we will be recruiting to the below areas:
- Cardiothoracic Wards
- Cardiothoracic Theatres

- Acute/General Theatres
- Acute Intensive Care Unit

Our Recruitment Event is focused on providing you with a personal interview experience. It is an ideal opportunity to meet with our nursing teams, you will meet our Practice Based Educators who will provide details of the preceptorship programme and you are able to visit your preferred work area.

By being interviewed on the day, pre-employment checks can be started
immediately, significantly reducing any potential delays and avoid the need for additional appointments.

why we need amazing people like you – people who stand out from the
crowd. Real professionals who are adaptable to new roles, responsive to
change and always looking to improve and develop innovative practice.
We can offer training, flexibility, friendliness and a caring environment in
which to work and provide a number of benefits, which you will find on the
attached document entitled 'Staff Benefits'

Post-holders will also have access to the UHSM Academy and LEAD
Training Programmes, a unique and innovative concept to develop skillsets, which brings together all of the education and training activities of the University Hospital of South Manchester under one umbrella.

Our commitment is further reinforced by our robust Trust Nurse Revalidation Programme – offering an e-portfolio and dedicated individual support.
