An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen for 16 experienced and dynamic nurses who have completed their preceptorship period of their nursing career,to rotate for a year between community and hospital healthcare settings. These jobs will help to enhance the development of a nursing workforce which meets the increasing and changing needs of ourpopulation in Nottinghamshire.
This unique pathway will include placements between Nottingham City Care and Nottingham University Hospitals OR Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust.

If you would like to know more about the rotations a Regional Nurse Rotation Information Event will be held on 19th October 1200-1700, Double Tree, Gateway, Hilton Hotel, Nuthall Road, Nottingham, NG8 6AZ. This will give you the opportunity to come and ask questions and meet some of the clinical teams involved.
If your application is shortlisted you will be sent a pack detailing each rotation, the specific job description and providing you with the opportunity to specify which rotation/s you would be interested in. The recruitment day will be held on 16th November, as well as being interviewed candidates will be asked to complete a math’s test in line with the medicine’s management procedure of the acute trusts.
Successful candidates will be employed by the organisation of the first clinical area of the rotation where you will spend your first 6 months. You will then rotate into the other clinical area that is linked with this rotation for 6 months, returning to your initial area as a permanent member of staff.
Please note that by submitting your application form you will agree for your personal information to be shared between the organisations and you will be asked to sign a document at interview giving your permission for this process to take place.
The hours of work will vary, weekend, nights and bank holiday work will be dependent on the healthcare setting but will be an expected part of the rotation. Candidates will be required to be able to travel to a variety of different settings across the region for different times of the day and travel extensively between patients homes when in a community setting.
