About the Home:

Fairburn Vale can be described as a 'bridge' between hospital and home. It is a rehabilitation service that aims to help people regain the best possible level of independence following Acquired Brain Injury from different professions, working together to design and deliver a uniquely personal treatment programme. It can also be an aid in the recuperative process following on from hospitalisation or to avoid hospital admissions.

It provides intensive rehabilitation in a non-hospital setting with the aim of providing care closer to home. The service is for all areas across the Yorkshire region for residents over the age of 18 with complex multiple conditions related to Acquired Brain Injury that would benefit from a period of rehabilitation or long term quality care in the community.

This service is a bright, modern build set within a shared service of other Exemplar services.

Company Overview

Exemplar started life as a training company, helping a care home operator get to grips with an ever-increasing regulatory burden. We helped co-ordinate nursing adaptation courses for overseas nurses too.

Having all this knowledge at our fingertips, we quickly moved into care home operation, taking over 5 elderly care homes in need of some tlc. We still have these homes and they form the bedrock on which the rest has been built.
