Registered Domiciliary Care Manager, Birmingham
Salary - £27,000 - £30, 000 per year (negotiable to £35,000 depending on experience)

Experts2care are recruiting a Registered Domiciliary Care Manager for a small, growing Domiciliary Care company in South East Birmingham. The company provides homecare, personal care, escort / befriending, sitting and relief services for the elderly and individuals with disabilities entitled to or wishing to purchase support within their own home. They have a good reputation in the area and provide over 1600 hours of care to clients per week. The Registered Domiciliary Care Manager will be a strong Manager with business development skills in order to continue growing the business and ensure ongoing compliance with CQC standards.

Main duties and responsibilities for Registered Domiciliary Care Manager:

The legal and ethical running of the business.
The management of a team of carers and office staff.
Staff planning --- Ensuring that there are enough carers recruited and trained to be able to address varying customer needs and time slots.
Quality control ----The delivery of quality care and the over achievement of CQC standards is of utmost importance. The application of quality control systems to help deliver this goal.
Staff recruitment, development and motivation --- Ongoing Training ,coaching and appraisals.
Staff initial training ---- Responsible for running the induction course .
The supervision and quality control of care plans and risk assessments produced by the supervisors.
Marketing/Business development.

Job Requirements

Main requirements for Registered Domiciliary Care Manager:

An experienced Domiciliary care manager.
Strong , proven practical staff management and leadership skills.
A dynamic approach to business and getting the job done.
NVQ 4 or 5/RMA /LMC qualified.
Openly enthusiastic with a positive, pro- active attitude. Personable.
Someone with a high standards and an eye for quality care delivery.
Some evidence of involvement in business development and emphasis on customer focus.
Evidence of working productively with CCGs and Social services.
Scheduling /rostering experience an advantage.
