Our Registered General Nurse – Nights role involves:

  • Providing a high standards of care to people with complex neurological problems including acquired brain injuries in a nurse lead unit
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Experience /willingness to work/care for patients with a tracheostomy
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • Working as part of an MDT and contributing to patient progress review meetings

To be successful as Registered General Nurse - Nights, you’ll need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification - RGN
  • Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and flexible approach- Our unit operates 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns, including weekends, bank holidays
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
