Supporting You in South Wales provides innovative and creative support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental illnesses to live the lives they want and to achieve their goals. We work with individuals who require support and assistance to live as independently as possible whether this is providing support in peoples’ own homes or via our outreach services. The level of support can range from a couple of hours per week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Craegmoor Supporting You in South Wales provides support to individuals living in their own tenancies in a range of shared houses and individual flats as well as providing outreach support to vulnerable adults in the community. Locality Managers are responsible for the management and operation of the service including the care and support, personal and business development of their area.
Locality Managers are required to support people to live full and independent lives, supporting individuals to achieve outcomes, hopes and dreams. Whilst meeting a range of personal care, social and emotional care needs. The role requires directly supporting individuals in their own homes with daily living skills, household duties, managing finances, medication, shopping, personal hygiene, health appointments, accessing the local community and social engagements or employment, and supervising project coordinators and support workers carrying out these duties.
Management responsibilities include rota planning, payroll and incoming processing, attending and chairing reviews and meetings, staff management and supervision, building and maintaining relationships with tenants, families, commissioners and social workers.
Diploma level 5 is required, to register with the Care Council for Wales and CSSIW. All employees benefit from a full induction and training programme as part of their personal development.
The successful candidate will be based in the registered office in Cardiff, South Wales, CF3, but will be overseeing services in the Newport Area, so therefore the candidate must be a driver with access to a vehicle. You will be also be required to take part in an on-call system at weekends and out of hours.
