The National Autism Unit (NAU) seeks to employ compassionate and motivated RMNs or RNLDs.
The NAU is a 15 bedded single sex unit located in the beautiful and leafy grounds of the Bethlem Royal Hospital. The unit offers assessment and treatment to adults with High Function Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-morbid mental health problems. As a teaching unit with ties to the Institute of Psychiatry and access to leading experts in Autism Spectrum Disorder and other mental illnesses, you will have unrivalled opportunity for personal and professional development with the support of an excellent clinical team.
You will work in an environment with a solid track record for offering high quality standards of care, which has won the unit awards and recognition within the Trust.
As a qualified nurse you will have the opportunity to use and model Evidence Based Practice. You will have the opportunity to be trained and take part in psychological treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Group Therapy.
