Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Woodbourne Priory Hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for 54 service users, including separate facilities for up to 21 young people.
Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addiction, the hospital have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.
Our highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists, deliver personalised treatment programmes and a range of therapies.
We are looking for RMNs to work on our 17 bed Adult Acute Ward. You will be an experienced RMN who is flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and interested in working within a modern, forward thinking, effective, specialist service. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary teams adopting a pro-active and therapeutic approach to care management with a supportive and healing environment.
We are looking for RMNs to work on our 17 bed Adult Acute Ward and 10 bed Adult PICU Ward

You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary teams, adopting a pro-active and therapeutic approach to care management with a supportive and healing environment.
About the role
As well as providing outstanding treatment and care, we aim to deliver a service that’s empowering for our patients. One in which we can support them in maximising the quality of their life in the least restrictive manner possible. So when you join our multi-disciplinary team, you’ll work together to develop personalised, recovery-focused programmes and care pathways. Playing a vital leadership role on the ward, you’ll also use your expertise and ideas to help us continually evolve best practice and set new standards both within the Priory Group and across the profession.
The successful candidate will undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. Undertaking the delivery of care, including individual and group sessions to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedure and health legislation. You should be prepared to work in an environment that can be very challenging, but also rewarding.
The allocation and the ability to oversee work of junior colleagues and staff. Care, security and maintenance of equipment, drugs and other consumables on the ward/department.
Shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of patient records, data and information. Ensuring good quality patient documentation, which meets regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.

While you’ll be RMN qualified and NMC registered, we’ll be looking for a range of qualities that go beyond your qualifications and technical ability. Whether you are currently working elsewhere or returning to practice, you’ll be patient centric with a commitment to delivering high quality care. Finely tuned decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational capacity are a must, while your flexibility and can-do attitude will enable our patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives.
