Job Description

Registered Mental Health NursesCygnet Health Care is one of the UK's largest independent providers of mental health and social care pathways, providing high value integrated services to a wide range of individuals. We have established ourselves as providers of a full care pathway from medium secure services all the way through to supported living in the community.

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is located close to the centre of the beautiful North Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate and is easily accessible from the nearby cities of Leeds, Bradford and York. In addition to providing a thriving acute inpatient service to NHS trusts around the country the hospital also provides private mental health and addiction services. The unit supports a full MDT including RMNs, support workers, consultant psychiatrist and junior doctors and therapy staff.

We currently have exciting opportunities for exceptional, enthusiastic and motivated RMN staff nurses with previous experience, to join the multi-discplinary team on our acute ward delivering recovery based and outcomes-focussed care to our service users.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards of patient care and be professionally responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. A high standard of record keeping which demonstrates service user engagement is expected.

Please note that advertised salaries are based on a 385 hour working week. We also offer 11, 22, 33 and 44 hour contracts, subject to the individual hospital’s availability. Please contact the Recruitment team for more details.
