Registered Nurse – Main Outpatients Department

Southend University Hospital is the South Essex surgical centre for uro-oncology and gynae-oncology surgery and is considered to be a centre of excellence for the care of stroke. Also offered are breast screening, ophthalmology and orthodontic services to the wider south Essex population.
We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate organised and efficient Registered Nurse to join our Main Outpatient Department.

We provide outpatient services for Medical and Surgical clinics including surgical specialities such as Plastic Surgery and wound dressing clinics’.

You will be required to deliver high quality care, have excellent organisation skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload.

It is preferable that you have previous experience in an Outpatient environment, and up to date experience of Wound Care as this is a key element of the post.

This job is permanent, part time, 30 hours per week. Shift pattern is spread over Monday – Friday with shifts in satellite clinics as required.
