The Medicine CBU at KGH has opened a new 29 bedded female ward and is looking to recruit to a team of highly motivated and person-centered individuals to provide compassionate, safe and effective care.
Poplar Ward has a high number of internationally educated nurses that are working towards NMC registration in the UK. With this is mind we are seeking people with mentorship and coaching experience. This can also be supplied once in post.
We would like to speak to both experienced and newly qualified Registered Nurses who have a keen interest in acute and general medicine. You will find satisfaction from building professional relationships of trust with patients and working with them toward their goals. In return you will work within a team who find solutions together toward ever safer care and celebrate their successes together.
You will be supported to meet your own goals with an introductory 1:1 with the Lead Nurse, Practice Development and the Ward Matron, where you will be supported to create an individual learning plan toward your career goals.
Through in-ward learning and access to external programs of education you will be supported to start, progress or sustain your career in nursing at each level enabling you to feel confident and current in your knowledge and practice
