We are a brilliant place to work, and our staff responses to the national staff survey show that on a number of key findings we are among the best trusts in the NHS. In the last survey (2015) we scored in the top 20% of acute trusts on a number of factors including opportunities for flexible working, communications between senior management and staff, staff engagement and staff feeling recognised and valued by managers and the organisation. Staff engagement is fundamental to our success and we have been voted one of the ‘Best Places to Work in the NHS’ for two years running by the Health Service Journal (HSJ).
