Job Description

We currently have opportunities within the following departments –

Ward 5A

5A is a very busy 30 bedded trauma and elective orthopaedic ward. The ward also has its own designated trauma co-coordinator who ensures patients go to the theatre in a timely way.

Ward 5B

5B is an award winning designated 30 bedded fractured NOF (neck of femur) ward. It is supported by a designated fracture NOF specialist practitioner, and also joint medical care in the form of orthogeriatricians and orthopaedics. The dramatic reduction in length of stay for our patients and improved mortality rates are testament to the hard work and commitment of all team members.

Swift Ward

Swift is a designated elective mixed specialty and orthopaedic 27 bedded ward; made up of predominantly side rooms with en-suite facilities, it is part of the Lister Treatment Centre; purpose built in 2010 for predominantly elective patients. This area has its own designated theatre suite integral within the building, but Swift ward will take patients from a variety of sources within a designated criteria.

As part of the selection process you will be required to take a drug calculation assessment prior to interview.
