We currently have opportunities within the following departments –
Ward 11A is the trust's dedicated 29 bedded respiratory ward including a 4 bedded RSU. We manage and care for a wide variety of respiratory and medical patients with conditions such as COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, etc. The ward vision is to have the patient at the centre of everything we do and want to achieve.
7A North – Ward 7a north is a fully refurbished 14 bed ward which opened at the beginning of 2016, caring for patients with general respiratory conditions
Sleep Services: Our unit offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services for patients with:
•Suspected obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS)
•Restless leg syndrome (RLS)
•Periodic limb movement (PLM)
•Obesity hypoventilation syndrome (OHS)
ACT: A seven-day acute chest team (ACT) reviews, within 24 hours, all respiratory patients admitted to the Lister via the hospital’s emergency department or acute medical assessment unit. The team also advises on acutely unwell respiratory patients on other inpatient wards at the Lister, as well as providing a rapid assess clinic to facilitate the early discharge of patients, or preventing their admission in the first place.
