Registered Nurse - RGN - Leading Non-Profit Organisation - Elderly Nursing Home - Full Time Days - Prestwich, Manchester - £14 per hour

My client is part of one of the North's leading and award winning healthcare Charities. They are looking for an experienced and hands-on Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their team at this elderly nursing home in Prestwich, Manchester. The service provides end of life, palliative and respite care to elderly residents.

You will be an excellent Nurse (RGN) with experience in clinical leadership looking for an exciting new Staff Nurse position within a prestigious Charity caring for the elderly in Prestwich, Manchester.

The role of the Staff Nurse (RGN) is:

•To work according to Nursing & Midwifery Council Code
•Promoting the ethos of Person Centred Care
•Assessment of care and health care needs
•Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care
•To develop care plan's relevant to a patients individual needs
•To ensure all arrangements for the admission of residents are in place
•To ensure the medication rounds are conducted accurately and correct
•To liaise with GP's and all members of the MDT team

As a Staff Nurse (RGN) you will have:

•A general or mental health nursing qualification (RGN)
•Experience of delivering person centred care in a similar environment (RGN)
•Knowledge of caring for the elderly
•Excellent communication skills
