Registered nurse ( RGN or RMN or RNLD)

Location: Wishaw, Lanarkshire

Salary: £12.32 per hour ( £22,800 - £30,400 per annum ) Paid Breaks £1000 welcome bonus

Hours: Full time or Part time hours available

Shifts: Days or nights available depending on preference

Contract type: Permanent

We are currently looking for someone who will play a key role within this purpose built care home as a registered nurse. The home is located in a friendly residential area with good transport links. Nurses at this home offer convalescence, palliative, respite and Dementia nursing as well as a caring environment for all residents. The service enjoys an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high.

We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses. The Manager is able to accommodate both part time and full time hours. They are able to be flexible with regard to shift pattern, so you will be able to choose permanent day shifts or permanent night shifts or a mixture of both if you prefer.

We are now offering a £1000 welcome bonus to all new nurses who join this nursing home

Who we're looking for

- A level one Registered Nurse

- You will be committed to championing independence, choice and dignity in the home

- You'll have dedication and passion for helping make every day special for our residents

- An ability to build warm and trusting relationships with our residents and their families

- Applicants must be RGN or RMN trained and must hold a valid PIN.

About the role:

- Leading your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the home, including maintaining accurate records for each of our residents

- You will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents,

- Creating and developing strong links with local professional bodies, you will play an important role in raising the care home's profile within the community

- It is likely that, from time to time, you will be expected to provide cover outside of normal hours.
