£34,000 (£15.50 p/hour)

We are currently recruiting for a specialist care home, catering for 20 adults (aged 18-65) with a primary diagnosis of a mental health condition. This may include conditions such as Schizophrenia and other psychoses, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression and so on. The focus of the home is to encourage the independence of the service users and allow them to access the social and educational aspects of the community. The home is located in the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside, and would be commutable from Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic candidate for our fantastic new vacancy as a Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN) of a specialist mental health nursing service. This position is a great opportunity for an RMN to broaden their experience and work for a small, privately-owned company.

Key responsibilities include supervising junior members of staff and working closely with the Home Manager. You will be responsible for managing the rota and sourcing bank nurses when required. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating care plans, medication rounds, and will be involved in developing relationships with healthcare professionals and patients' family members.

Person Specification

We are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified RMN with a valid NMC registration and the ability to work as a team but also independently. The successful candidate will have clinical experience with people suffering from complex mental health needs. Applicants must have full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
