Job Title: RMN Staff Nurse

Location: Pontypridd (South Wales) - easily accessible by car or public transport

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (£12.80- £15.40 p/hour) negotiable depending on experience

Contract: permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)


An exciting new opportunity has arisen for experienced, motivated and skilled RMNs to practice in a low-secure hospital set in the beautiful countryside of Pontypridd (South Wales). Our client is successful and very well-established; this service provides care and support to males and females over the age of 18 suffering from severe and enduring mental illnesses. There are various wards available including low-secure and locked rehabilitation. The aim of the hospital is to create a safe and therapeutic environment in which patients can recover and integrate back into the community or supported living.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be liaising with the multidisciplinary team and carrying out the necessary forms of clinical care required. You will be responsible for writing, maintaining and implementing care plans on a person-centred basis.

Person Specification:

Our client is looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. We are looking for candidates with passion, motivated and enthusiasm for providing quality care. Nurses must have good communication skills. We welcome applications from newly-qualified nurses as a full Preceptorship programme is available.
