Registered Nurse Acute Medicine .

With a special interest in the Acute Care of Medical patients.

We currently have opportunities within the following departments –

Short Stay Unit with a special interest in caring for acutely ill medical patients
An excellent opportunity has arisen for 3 Band 5 Staff Nurse's to join our exciting Acute Medical Ward at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS. SSU is a vibrant, fast paced and busy ward which provides a variety of diverse and complex medical treatments for acute medical patients of all specialities.

We are a dedicated, professional, and friendly team and would welcome an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated nurse to join us. We are committed to teaching and supporting staff and are looking for these qualities in a new team member; Willingness to undertake training in venipuncture and cannulation, and in managing patients with a series of complex acute problems.

The post holder will need to be able to care for a group of patients with a variety of needs and communicate with the wider multidisciplinary and administrative teams. Newly qualified nurses with an interest acute medicine are encouraged to apply

As part of the selection process you will be required to take a drug calculation assessment prior to interview.
