Due to expansion in service, redesign of patient pathways combined with a re-evaluation of acuity we have vacancies in the field of Specialty Medicine (Cardiac, Respiratory and Medical Specialties). The redesign of patient pathways and admissions for short stay respiratory patients and further development of respiratory and heart failure ambulatory medicine, have all added to this area. We are now looking for highly motivated and dedicated staff to join our Team. Following a bed reconfiguration of Harrowden A and Harrowden C they are now managed as a Cardio Respiratory Unit.
We therefore have a range of opportunities available for full time, part time posts and staff are invited to apply and can either be on a fixed ward or enjoy the benefits of a rotation. If you are a qualified Nurse who has acute medical care experience or experience in specialty respiratory or fancy a new challenge we would encourage you to consider this dynamic specialty area.
In return we are offering to work with you, to develop you as a skilled practitioner in a supportive acute environment with our local practice development nurse. We actively encourage professional development at the Hospital and link with local Universities and Education Providers to offer a range of funded courses. We also have fantastic promotional opportunities within the speciality for Nurses with ambition and enthusiasm in respiratory and cardiac care.
Do you have you the skills and drive to join the team in this exciting transformation? Training plans will be available for all staff appointed.
Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has made a commitment to provide excellent patient care and experience through campaigns such as ‘I will…’. We would really welcome informal discussions and site visits prior to application. We are confident that when you meet our teams on Harrowden A and Harrowden C at Kettering you will want to be part of our organisation and care for patients in the field of Speciality Medicines.
