Description: Our client cares for patients with a range of life limiting conditions and they are seeking staff with a genuine interest and experience in palliative care. You will be responsible for providing flexible nursing care for palliative care patients and their families in their own home without direct supervision.
Another crucial aspect will be to coordinate, when required, the P@H Service and contribute to the on-call rota.
The service is operational 24 hours per day, you will have a flexible approach to work
requirements in order to meet the needs of the patient and their carers.
You must have access to transport and be prepared to travel throughout the defined catchment area. Registered Nurses occupying this role are designated lone workers.
Person Specification: A Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a positive outlook, self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative, although a team approach is essential.
If you have a commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care we would like to hear from you. Contracts for 37.5 hours are available and they require Nurses who can work shifts across days and nights. Some weekend working is requiremed of this role, enhancements apply.
