Registered Nurse (RGN) - Dementia Care - Nursing Home - Ellesmere Port, Cheshire- Salary £14 - Full Time - 36 hour per week - Flexible

I am currently recruiting for a well-established nursing home in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, who are looking for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) yo join their team. This nursing home is registered to carry out the highest standard of care, and the care they deliver is person centered and tailored for the individual.

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you'll be supported by an experienced team of staff who are all trained in looking after people, including those with dementia and complex care needs.

This nursing home has a reputation based on several decades of excellence and commitment to their patients and staff. Their mission is to deliver exceptional experiences for the patients treated in Nursing Homes throughout the UK and to do that, they need exceptional people.

Typical duties of the Registered Nurse (RGN) will include;

•Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
•Develop, review and update care plans
•Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
•Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
•Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff.
•Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
•Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit
•Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
•Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) you'll be/have

•RGN Qualified & NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Registered
•Previous older peoples care experience is desirable but not essential
•Caring & compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
•Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
•Excellent organisation & leadership skills
•Effective communication skills
•Flexible, professional and committed to being the best
•The legal right to work in the UK
•Quality driven with a desire to continually improve yourself & our services
