You will be an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who has experience working in a clinical elderly general nursing environment. You will be looking for an exciting new staff nurse position in a reputable elderly nursing home in Leominster, West Midlands.
My client is part of a small group of services who aim to deliver an exceptional level of nursing care for the elderly across the region. The home is looking for a conscientious and experienced RMN Staff Nurse to join their team. Located just outside of Leominster, this nursing home is easily accessible by train or either the A49 or A44. The home is set within the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and also boasts vast landscaped gardens which the residents can not only enjoy, but help to maintain!
This small elderly service delivers general nursing care to 33 residents. The home is looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience working in a general nursing, clinical care setting. The ideal individual will be dedicated and passionate about elderly care and prides themselves in making a real difference to the residents in their care. The service provides general nursing care to elderly residents over the age of 55 who have age related nursing needs.

The role of the Registered Nurse (RMN) is:
•Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
•Develop, review and update care plans
•Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
•Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
•Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff
•Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
•Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit
•Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
•Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places
As a Registered Nurse (RMN) you will have:
•Experience in a similar setting (Hospital or Nursing Home)
•A general nursing qualification (RMN)
•Current and valid registration with the NMC
•The legal right to work in the UK
