Registered Nurse (RNLD) - CAMHS Hospital - Stafford, West Midlands - Salary from £12.74 dependent on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week - days and nights
You will be a Registered Nurse (RNLD) who is experienced working in an acute and challenging mental health setting looking for an exciting new position in Stafford, West Midlands.
This private CAMHS mental health hospital is part of one of the UK's most widely recognised mental health care providers. They are looking for RNLD Staff Nurses to join their CAMHS hospital in Stafford. You will be working within a hospital which cares for various mental health needs ranging from eating disorders, psychosis and complex needs/dual diagnosis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RNLD to join a hospital in which the challenges of the job are by far outweighed by the rewards, in both a personal and professional capacity. The hospital provides care to adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 who are all diagnosed with a mental health illness. The hospital is split into 3 units, a General Assessment ward, an Eating Disorder Unit and a PICU ward for individuals who require very specific and intensive treatment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing high levels of care within this mental health service in Stafford, West Midlands providing care for adolescents with mental health illnesses or eating disorders. As a Registered Nurse (RNLD) you will be responsible for:
•To identify the care needs of patients while planning and implementing nursing intervention
•To communicate information accurately on patient care to the relevant parties while adhering -to the principles of information governance
•To administer drugs and checking/preparations in accordance with NMC guidelines
•To assist in the induction and development of new and junior staff members
As a Registered Nurse (RNLD) you will have:
•A Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) qualification
•Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
•An enhanced DBS
•Experience of mental health services
•Acute experience (desirable)
•Knowledge of the revised Mental Health Act (1983)
