The hub of the Trust is the George Eliot Hospital, which is based on the outskirts of Nuneaton. The hospital provides a range of elective, non-elective, surgical, medical, women’s, children’s, diagnostic and therapeutic services.
About the GEH Emergency Department
Accident & Emergency is one of the busiest departments at the George Eliot Hospital, with up to 180 patients seen daily in the department, often more at weekends.
The team is the front end service that delivers care, investigates and stabilises patients before admitting them for further management, transferring to the Acute Medical Unit or discharging back into the community.
They have Senior Clinicians in the department 24/7 and there is a Consultant or Associate Specialist present 12 hours a day 365 days a year.
In order to apply for this post you must have a minimum of 6 months A&E RN UK (Private or NHS) hospital experience with the last 2 years or completion of a Return to Practise within the last 2 years.
