The Stepdown Unit is a 20 bedded unit for level 1 critical care surgical patients. The patient caseload encompasses all surgical specialities including General Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, ENT etc.
The unit is anaesthetic lead with close involvement from the surgical teams with daily input from all ares of the MDT.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, a good team worker and keen to learn.
Applying for this job will give you the opportunity to broaden your experise and knowledge in many areas including Pain Management, Fluid Balance, Nutrtion etc

Current NMC Registration
Excellent Communication skills
Some surgical knowledge / experience would be preferable.
Able to manage your own workload.

Induction and training will be provided so experience in critical care is not essential.
