Cubley Court ward based at the Kingsway Hospital Site currently has full time and part time vacancies available for either newly qualified or experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses
We care for Service Users who have a diagnosis of a dementia type illness on the Kingsway Site, and are an ageless service.
If you have a very keen interest in meeting the needs of Older People and developing services to meet those needs then these posts may be for you.
As a member of the team, you would be expected to deliver a high standard of person centred care working within the Trust Core Care Standards promoting Service User dignity at all times, act as a Named Nurse within the framework of the Care Programme Approach, facilitate, manage and lead shifts, actively participate in on going developments and projects, work within a multi-disciplinary team and support the Management Team in maintaining a professional service.
We can offer you on going training and development, support with portfolio and professional development, clinical and managerial supervision, support with caseload management, an annual PADR and Personal Development Plan. We are happy to accept applications from newly qualified nurses as a programme of Preceptorship is in embedded within the Trust.
Please be mindful that the wards provide a 24 hour service so you would need to be able to work shift patterns including morning, afternoon and night shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays.

The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service formerly known as CRB) disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure which will be deducted from your first month’s salary. The current price of a standard check is £26 and an enhanced check is £44.
