An opportunity has arisen to recruit an RMN to work in the Killamarsh and North Chesterfield neighbourhood. You will also be required work flexibly across neighbourhoods as needs arise. The team is based in Killamarsh, near Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop and Chesterfield.
The post holder will work alongside the band 6 practitioners in the assessment service providing follow up and supporting clinical interventions for people with moderate to complex mental health needs.
The post is based in the Single Point of Access (SPOA) Team, and involves providing comprehensive evidence based treatment using a range of appropriate individual interventions, based on the local and national practice guidance and underpinned by the Recovery Model. You will need to be able to manage working autonomously in a community setting. We are looking for experience and commitment together with a desire to make our service the best we can through innovation and skill sharing.
The service is moving into a period of reconfiguration to work alongside our colleagues in the Older Adult team as part of a neighbourhood approach. This will require flexibility and a positive approach to change.
You will need to demonstrate expertise around N.M.C. Nurse Competencies. You will be expected to demonstrate developing leadership ship skills and experience of supervision of other staff is desirable.
You must have good communication skills and be able to operate as an integrated member of the multidisciplinary team whilst maintaining a person centred focus.
You will need to have the ability to transport yourself and service users across a wide geographical area without compromising service needs.

The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service formerly known as CRB) disclosure will be met by the individual.
