Your new company
Hays Healthcare have a number of opportunities within a number of NHS hospitals for Registered General Nurses to gain work experience on wards, based in acute hospital settings.
Your new role
The role will require individuals to commit to working two long days, or three short day shifts, per week for a three month period. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to gain a foothold in NHS nursing. By working the required day shifts, you will be placed alongside more experienced nurses and senior staff who will help support, train and supervise you - in order to develop your nursing skills.
What you'll need to succeed
We are recruiting nurses from a variety of backgrounds, including: nursing homes, private hospitals, overseas, telephone triage, ex-NHS, military, return to practice or primary care.
All applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
What you'll get in return
You'll be given a fantastic opportunity to work within the NHS, which could develop into more long term work.
Hays will offer you a free registration process, including a free CRB check and a free training course. We also offer a generous referral scheme, which could see you earn £250 for successfully referring another nursing candidate.
