A commitment to the delivery of high quality care within an Intermediate Care setting is essential, as is the ability to support the Senior Sister in ensuring that all patients and carers experience a clean and safe environment throughout their stay.
Langley House is a 26 bedded Rehabilitation Community Hospital.
The ward provides care for patients requiring long and short term rehabilitation, including stroke, post-op rehabilitation, medical assessments, prevention of admission.
We deliver an effective and efficient service for the local population in an appropriate environment.
A service that is responsive to the changing health/social needs of the local community.
Staff work long days / nights to cover 24 hours 7 days per week. Post holders will, at times, be expected to alter their duties to cover sickness and absence. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team is essential as is the desire to deliver high quality care through evidence based practice.
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £961 and a maximum payment of £1,665 per annum (pro rata where applicable).
