The Sussex Beacon offers specialist treatment and services to people living with HIV.
The ten bedded Inpatient Unit provides care and support to meet the complex and changing physical and psychological needs of its service users.
In this exciting key part time role, you will be responsible for assessing the care and health education needs of individual patients; developing, implementing and evaluating evidence -based programmes of care, and ensuring high standards at all times. You will also be responsible for a clinical project area and participate in learning and development.
You must have some post registration experience in a relevant area, for example in medical nursing, chronic disease management or in sexual health. Excellent communication and team working skills, initiative and organisational ability will also be essential along with the ability to prioritise. An interest in mental health and health promotion will also be valuable.
