About the Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen within our 67 bed Nursing Home, a striking Victorian Manor House situated opposite Hesketh Park and within easy reach of Southport Town Centre, catering for both young, physically disabled as well as elderly clientele.

The successful candidate will ensure the promotion of high standards of nursing care, by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.


You will perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, and report to the home manager, update care plans and administer safe medication. You will provide a high standard of care and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.

Full time and part time positions are available.

Job Requirements

About You

All applicants must have a valid NMC registration and a valid PIN.
You must have excellent communication and written skills and have previous experience working within a Nursing home or elderly care setting.


Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.


If you have the right values for our family run Company, you will be supported by a programme of induction, training and development via the Dovehaven Training Academy.


An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role.
