Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) - Nursing Home - Elderly Challenging Behaviour Nursing Home - Cannock, Staffordshire - Up to £15.50 per hour dependent on experience

Working Hours: Full or Part Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) to join a challenging and exciting, challenging behaviour service in which you can develop professionally and progress within your career as well as making a real difference. I am currently working with one of the country's most reputable elderly healthcare providers who are looking for Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities to join their exciting challenging behaviour service in Cannock, Staffordshire. Working on a national basis the company strives to deliver an outstanding level of nursing care and support to residents and their families.

As Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) within this service, you will play an integral role within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including a well experienced team of nursing staff. Working to provide the highest standards of care and as part of a team trained to understand challenging behaviour, being a keen team player is one of the most important factors in this role and the successful nurse would be expected to play their part within the dynamic of the team. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) to join this purpose built elderly care service which endeavours to provide intensive and individualised care packages to elderly residents. The service is part of a larger healthcare provider and therefore ongoing training, support and potential for progression is part of the package you can enjoy.

Due to the nature of the needs' of the residents, this is a fast paced environment which calls for all team members to be reactive and work well under pressure. The health needs of the residents range from dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, and acquired brain injuries. You will be looking for a new Staff Nurse (RNLD) position within a nationally award winning company in which you can be supported in any professional development you want to undertake.

Each of the residents has an enduring mental health, dementia type diagnosis which means they exhibit episodes of challenging behaviour which is too severe to be appropriately cared for in an elderly nursing home.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

•Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) qualified with relevant experience
•Experience working in a learning disability/enduring mental health setting
•Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
