We currently have opportunities within the following departments –

Pirton HASU (Hyper Acute Stroke Unit) is central to the trusts developing stroke service and offers prospects for career development.

Barley Ward Stroke Unit: Barley ward is a newly created ward in autumn of 2015 as part of increasing our acute medical and stroke bed capacity. We have 22 beds allocated for Stroke patients that are requiring continuous nursing care and therapy whilst in hospital.

The primary role of the Registered Nurse is to provide a high quality, evidenced based nursing care to a designated group of patient working in collaboration with all the members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. We also work closely with the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit as part of the patient’s initial stroke pathway.

As part of the selection process you will be required to take a drug calculation assessment prior to interview.
