Bank Registered Nurses
Job Description

The Chantry, Ipswich, Suffolk  IP2 0BP

Bank hours including weekends/unsocial hours

plus enhancements: 45% weekends/30% night duty

We are looking for experienced registered nurses on our bank register to join our professional and friendly team to ensure our residents meet their full potential and enjoy a high quality of life. There are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and career progression through our education programme and development framework. So if you are enthusiastic, committed and interested in the challenging yet very rewarding field of neurological care we'd like to hear from you.

Ideally you will have post-registration experience in neurological care with an appropriate diploma level qualification but more importantly we want to hear from dedicated nurses with sound clinical skills who are keen to make a real difference.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Chantry Park in Ipswich, The Chantry is a Sue Ryder specialist neurological 29 bed care centre. We care for people aged 18 and over who have life-changing conditions. We are here for people with physical disabilities and degenerative conditions such as motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's - as well as those with acquired conditions resulting from a brain or spinal injury or stroke.

At Sue Ryder not only do we treat more conditions than any other UK charity in our hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community; we also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. We see the person, not the condition, taking time to understand the small things that help that person live the fullest life they can. Our shops, fundraising and volunteers support us to be there for people at the most difficult time of their lives.

For more information or to arrange an informal visit, please call Kevin Whomes, Business Manager, on 01473 295200.

Benefits: *

* Continuation of NHS pension Option to buy and sell up to five days holiday * Private Pension matched at either 3% or 5% * Auto enrolment pension scheme * Free parking onsite * Subsidised meals * Development opportunities for all * Free tea and coffee *
