It would be preferred if applicants have some knowledge of the information systems used within the Radiology Department i.e. Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) , Radiology Information System (RIS) and Voice Recognition (VR).
The Reporting Pathway Coordinator is an integral part of the PACS Support Team and will be directly line managed by the Imaging Information and Performance Manager. The Reporting Pathway Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of reporting services across various pathways (e.g. A&E, Inpatients and Outpatients) and will involve liaising with the radiography, radiology and referring teams to ensure all scans are reported quickly and efficiently to ensure departmental standards around turnaround and data quality are met. This role will be based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
