Priory Group has launched a brand new specialist residential service providing care and therapy for 6 young people aged from 7 to 19, who have a range of abilities and needs, which may include Autism. Our therapy and care support the social, moral and emotional needs of our young people. Our new home is part of Priory’s specialist education service and has been specifically designed to accommodate young people with complex needs within a homely residential environment, situated within a semi-rural picturesque location, close to Darlington and Northallerton. Our home offers a range of nurturing and stimulating experiences in outdoor activities such as equestrian and small animal care, horticultural and agricultural projects.
As a Support Worker you will contribute to the effective implementation of individual programmes by supporting the teaching and learning, social and independence activities and experiences which enhance the learning and development of young people. You will manage the well-being and behaviour of young people and assist senior members of staff with the compilation of care and learning plans, prepare reports and update daily records and logs are required. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic people to join our friendly team, working with a unique group of young people.
