Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust is no ordinary NHS hospital. We look different, feel different, and act different.
Whether you want to be a Nurse, Consultant, or part of the vital network of professionals who support the infrastructure and environment needed to provide the best patient care, when you join Hinchingbrooke you’re part of a family. That’s the beauty of a hospital like ours – we’re big enough to strive to be the best, small enough to care, and dedicated to your continued development and support.
We are able to support you through the Anglian Ruskin University Return to Practice programme – we will make every effort to link placements to your previous nursing experience but placement opportunities also depend upon service need.
Alongside our Trust Induction, as a Return to Practice Nurse the post holder will participate in the provision of individualized patient care, working collaboratively with patients, relatives, colleagues and disciplines to ensure a high standard of care. You will have supernumerary status with full support from a sign off mentor whilst you undertake the required clinical hours to regain your skills.
In partnership with Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge or Chelmsford Campus) a course applicable to returning to practice has been developed covering all aspects of nursing care.
There will be an Open day at Hinchingbrooke hospital in May, followed by interviews in June at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge Campus.
