Job Description

RGN Nursing Job Vacancy on the Isle of Wight

Our expert healthcare team on the Island of Wight is growing as clients experience the difference that the Newcross standard of care can make. We recently launched our new, bigger Isle of Wight branch on Quay Street in Newport and we’re now recruiting for experienced care assistants and nurses who share our commitment to excellence in care.

Unlike an agency, we focus on nurturing and rewarding great members of staff. At Newcross, we offer permanent jobs with all the flexibility to maintain a work / life balance. Enjoy a permanent contract, guaranteed house and free training with Newcross.

Recently awarded a ‘good’ rating by the CQC with special mention of our ‘dedicated’, ‘kind’ and ‘knowledgeable’ staff, our complex care at home staff are caring for more clients than ever before. So whether you're looking for a care career in a nursing home, hospital or in care at home, Newcross has the job for you.

There has never been a better time to join Newcross in a full or part time nursing job. Get a free DBS check and a free uniform when you join, plus we’ll reward with a £500 bonus after 250 hours of work.*

Benefits of working in a Newcross nursing job:

  • Salary of up to £23.36/hr, paid weekly including holiday pay
  • Free uniform & DBS check when joining*
  • £500 welcome bonus*
  • Agreed mileage payments for most clients
  • Free ongoing training through credits earned as you work
  • Online area and smartphone app to manage your availability, bookings and payslips
  • 24-hour support contact centre, open 365 days a year
  • Recommend a Friend scheme paying up to £500 per successful referral
  • Online Intranet and smartphone app to manage your availability and bookings
  • NurChat nurse forum – get support and discuss issues with your peers

In order to be successful in this nursing role, you will need to be a naturally compassionate person with a strong sense of empathy for those individuals in your care.

You will also need the following:

  • Current valid NMC pin number
  • At least 6 months’ post qualification experience
  • At least 2 referee contact details, one from your current employer and one from your current or previous place of work commenting on your clinical ability. You must also provide referee contact details for all other employments in the past 18 months or for your 3 most recent jobs.
