Job Description

Heritage Oaks Healthcare are sourcing a RGN/RMN for a Nursing Home in central Sheffield to work either permanent nights or permanent days. The role will consist of either 33 or 44 hours per week with the possibility of working extra hours if requested. 

Salary will be agreed at interview and will be dependant on experience. 

Our clients team have over 20 years healthcare experience and an excellent reputation within the elderly care sector. Their homes are of an exemplary standard and with a overall rating of Good with CQC. 

The home is one of only four within Sheffield with contracted intermediate care beds as well as Nursing and EMI units which offers excellent opportunity for training and development. 

Responsibilities and duties:

• To provide a high standard of nursing care and to meet the needs of residents based on an assessment of their care needs in consultation with residents and their relatives.
• Assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individual’s health and well being needs.
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others, delegation and supervision of care staff.
• Promote best practices as a Staff Nurse 
• Contribute to quality improvement.
• Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
• Work autonomously with minimum supervision.

Job Requirements

Requirements for the role:

• Have a valid NMC pin number. 
• Able to provide proof of right to work within the UK
• Able to provide references 
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
