Job Description

Clayton Recruitment's specialist Nursing Division are assisting in the recruitment of a qualified Senior Nurse (RGN) within the Kent area, to work for a large national charity catering for residents with, Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, Sensory impairments, and those requiring treatment from long-term or terminal illness or disease.

You will benefit from a generous salary of £16.75 p/h and benefits package, the opportunity for overtime and a fantastic working environment.

You will be a qualified RGN with active NMC registration and will have experience of supporting patients in a Nursing home setting, and have the ability to lead a nursing team as well as being a proactive team player, an organised and effective time manager, self motivated disciplined, enthusiastic and keen to continue with your own professional development

Duties in brief
Ensure compliance with the NMC at all times and that processes are adhered to for the safe ordering, custody, storing and administration of all medication
Participate in monthly quality assurance audits
compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures and all relevant statutory and regulatory responsibilities including fire arrangements, health and safety issues including moving and handling, COSHH, maintaining records diligently and accurately.
Administer and order medicines as required by the home in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.
Provide leadership, guidance and management to nursing staff in line with company policies and procedures %3D
Provide support and supervision to care staff
Ensure effective communication with relatives and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained.
Assessing and responding to clinical risk, and having a good understanding of the regulatory framework
