The Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a new Trust, formed by the amalgamation of the highly performing Royal West Sussex and Worthing and Southlands Hospitals NHS Trusts, providing health care for nearly 500,000 people. This is a new post, designed to help run the General Obstetrics Service, contribute to 60 hours of Consultant presence on our Delivery Suite. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will participate in further development of ambulatory gynaecology services. A resident night shift component is included to provide sustainable high quality second tier staffing.
The Trust is committed to maintaining good quality teaching and training of junior medical staff/medical students and the successful candidate will be expected to actively support this and encourage audit and research
