Permanent - Full Time (375 hrs per week)

Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation trust is a busy progressive acute general hospital based on the edge of South West London in a lovely area with lots of open spaces. It is right by Richmond Park, the Thames and in the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames with its amazing shopping area, lovely pubs and restaurants, Kingston University and it is close to Bushy Park and Hampton Court too. The hospital is opposite Norbiton Station with a frequent network of trains and the train journey into Waterloo is only about 25 min. There are great bus links into central London too.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Band 5 Occupational Therapist who enjoys a challenge and independent working with the OT and MDT Team. The 6- monthly rotations take place in Kingston Hospital NHS Trust.

The rotation consists of specialties like general medicine, care of the elderly, acute orthopaedics/surgery and acute stroke

It is desirable that candidates have previous NHS experience preferably in Occupational Therapist role in a fast turn over physical acute setting.

You will be fully supported, supervised and encouraged to attend clinical and any other relevant training, to support your learning needs. Well-established supervision structures and teaching programmes are in place. There is a strong commitment to clinical governance, continuing professional development and EBP. There is also an active basic grade support group.

Full clean UK manual driving license is essential.
