Permanent full time Rotational Physiotherapist - band 5 to be worked over 7 days.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust have a permanent full time vacancy in our band 5 rotation which covers acute and primary care settings across Torbay and South Devon. The 4 monthly rotations include: MSK outpatients, acute respiratory care with ITU, surgical and medical wards, trauma and orthopaedics, the stroke unit, elderly care and Intermediate care, and extensive community services. There are 19 Band 5 rotations in total. Please note that we do offer skype interviews if necessary.

Support and development is provided through team leads in all areas and clinical specialists in a number of different fields.

Dependant on rotation, working across 7 days will be required. We currently have a commitment to providing an on call service within the DGH.

All staff on the rotation receives regular supervision and have access to a wide range of development opportunities including a preceptorship programme for newly qualified professionals. We can also offer funding opportunities for external courses for the more experienced B5.

We believe that we provide an excellent opportunity for Band 5 physiotherapists to develop their skills and gain the foundations for their future careers.

This rotational post offers the possibility to live and work in an attractive area which has easy access to both moor and sea. Accommodation costs are less than other parts of South Devon. The average price of terraced houses in the area is £168,062. One bedroom flats can be rented for approximately £110 per week and we also have access to keyworker accommodation.
