Salary: £21,909 - £28,462 pa

Hours: 375 per week

Location: Varied across the County of Gloucestershire

A Vacancy has arisen for a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to support Musculoskeletal (MSK), Community Rehabilitation Services and Paediatrics in Gloucestershire.

You will be required to work on a 6 month rotating basis between Cirencester, Stroud and Dursley Localities, Countywide Children’s and Young Peoples Services. The Rotational Post covers two Musculoskeletal Rotations, one in-patient Wards, two Community Reablement and one in Countywide Children’s Physiotherapy. The Reablement posts will include opportunity to work with Neuro Rehab, Long Term Conditions, Amputees, some Respiratory and the post holder will gain a balance of Community and Hospital Based Caseloads.

You will carry a varied caseload and assist in student, assistant and Reablement supervision. Caseloads may consist of Class based Activities, for example the Falls Group, Lower Limb and Return to Fitness.

You will work as part of a wider integrated team and will receive regular appraisal and clinical supervision as part of the preceptorship programme. Good evidence of Team working and initiative to work on your own is essential.

You will be involved and expected to participate in regular in-service training.
