Salaried Doctor vacancy at Kew Medical Practice

The Kew Medical Practice is a friendly Practice, based in a converted building in the leafy Kew Gardens area. The Practice population is mostly young families and a small elderly list. We do not cover nursing homes or other sites. The Practice was founded in 2002, and we have grown from a list of 300 to 4500 patients. One of our goals is to continue to offer a full range of quality services, whilst maintaining a close and personal relationship with our patients.

In addition to GMS, we offer family planning, minor surgery (joint injections), travel health and we are currently exploring the possibilities of Occupational medicine. We are approved as a teaching Practice , for retainers, and by CAA for airline staff medicals.

We have a vacancy for a committed and enthusiastic salaried GP who can join our team from November 2016. Applications welcomed from applicants wishing to work the following sessions:

5 to 8 sessions (possibly to include extended hours up to 745pm on Tuesdays)

Contract and salary based on BMA recommendations

As a key member of the team you will be innovative and a flexible team player

  • Vision – paper light
  • Special Interests encouraged
  • 8 sessions (session share/split would be considered for the right applicant)
  • High QOF achievers and fully engaged with clinical commissioning.
  • Excellent nursing and support teams
  • Forward thinking and IT progressive

Key day to day tasks:-

  • Day to day clinics and home visits
  • Actively participating in clinical and staff meetings
