Salaried GP Commencing January 2017
7-8 Sessions per week
Due to the retirement of two part-time GPs, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking to cover seven or eight clinical sessions over 4 days per week.
East Bank Medical Centre is an established practice with a diverse and expanding patient list (current list size 5,500). We have a well organised team of doctors, nurses, HCAs and a practice-employed pharmacist. The practice has a very low staff turnover and we are sorry to be losing two long standing members of our team whose combined service to the practice totals 50 years. The practice places a high value on team work and mutual support. The doctors meet daily to review incoming correspondence, discuss complex cases and allocate visits.
We run a doctor-led telephone triage system supported by a nurse practitioner who sees patients presenting with acute illnesses. Our strong emphasis on telephone consultations and triage allows us to offer excellent access with the majority of patients being seen on the day that they contact the practice.
For further details or to arrange an informal visit please contact:

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.
Applicants must have current UK professional registration. For further information please see applying from overseas.
